Presented by the Rotary Club of Regina Eastview
November 12, 2016
The Kardashians get constant attention for doing nothing more than being famous. Meanwhile, there are people working tirelessly to make our community and world a better place. And we (the Rotarians) want everyone to know about them.
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.
It is with this objective that the Rotary Club of Regina Eastview introduced the Service Above Self award. This award is presented annually to a non –Rotarian from Regina who exemplifies the object of Rotary through their exceptional level of volunteer contribution to the Regina Community.
The Service Above Self award selection committee is now accepting nominations for the 2016 award.
The award is open to any Regina non-Rotarian who has shown tireless volunteer efforts in any area of endeavour, whether it is in the field of arts, health, sports, education or humanitarian work in the Regina Community.
Deadline for nominations: December 31, 2016
The chosen recipient will be presented their award during the Rotary Club of Regina Eastview’s Valentine Gala sponsored by Jay’s Transportation Group Ltd. on February 10, 2017 at the Delta Hotel.
